We also published the updates tutorials and now we will show you how to root Samsung Galaxy J7 on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
Once your Samsung Galaxy J7 rooted then you can customize your smartphone and also install those apps which need root access. So if you are ready for rooting then follow the below guidelines.
The rooting method described below is meant only for the Samsung Galaxy J7 and is considered unsafe. Additionally, it’ll also void the warranty of your Galaxy j7 device. Do not proceed until you understand what you’re going to do and are mindful of its effects.
1. Download & install Samsung USB Drivers on your PC: Link
2. At least 60% charge in the battery is necessary.

4. Enable USB Debugging on your Galaxy J7
5. Download SuperSU file: Link
Step 1: First of all, download the SuperSU file from above link.
Step 2: Once the SuperSU file downloaded then connect the Galaxy J7 to the PC via theUSB data cable.
Step 3: Now transfer the SuperSU file to the SD card of your device (Root folder) .
Step 4: Now disconnect your device from the PC.
Step 5: Switch off and boot the Galaxy J7 into recovery mode by press & hold “Power + Home + Volume Down”buttons.
Step 6: Now tap the Install option from the recovery menu.
Step 7: Again tap the next option for browsing the SD card.
Step 8: Now locate SuperSU file that you transferred to the SD card in step 3.

Step 10: Wait for a while your device to get flashed with that SuperSU rooting file.
Step 11: Once the SuperSU file flashed then Go back to the main recovery menu and select the reboot system now.
Step 12: Once your Galaxy J7 boot into normal mode then go to play store and download and install Root Checker app: Link

Check Device Model Number

Step 1: Download Android Lollipop ROM and Google Apps packages from downloads section to your PC. Do not unzip the packages.
Step 2: Connect Galaxy Note to PC using an USB cable.
Step 3: Transfer the downloaded packages into the root of phone/SDcard memory.
Step 4: Once the transfer is done, disconnect the USB and turn off the Galaxy Note.
Step 5: Enter custom recovery mode on Galaxy Note. Don’t know how? Do follow the simple step below:
Turn on the device by holding Volume up+Home+Power buttons together until you see the recovery mode.
Step 6: In custom recovery mode, you can view a list of options which are not available in Stock recovery. Among them, find and select wipe data/factory reset(In recovery mode the touch interface will not work. You can use Volume buttons to navigate and Power button to select).
Step 7: Now perform a complete data wipe by selecting wipe cache partition.
Step 8: Once done, enter advanced options in recovery mode and select wipe dalvik cache.
Step 9: If you are done with all the above steps, you can flash the firmware package now. Select install zip from sdcard, navigate and choose the previously copied Android Lollipop ROM package. Confirm the installation and do not interrupt the process.
Step 10: After completion follow Step 9 again and choose Google apps package in this case.
Step 11: Once the packages installation is completed, select reboot system now option.
